Trimming your nails can be a tedious and perhaps not so accurate job when you use ordinary scissors or nail clippers. Seemagic has a gadget that makes it super easy. It’s compact and easily held in your hand. The electric nail clipper comes with a non-replaceable, but rechargeable battery power supply. Simply use the USB-C supplied charging cable and plug it into a standard USB charger/adapter, not supplied. Charging takes about 2 hours to be fully charged. It’s a good idea to charge the unit before your first use. Once fully charged you’re good to go for many trims.
To trim your nails, position the trimmer with the Seemagic name facing upward. Now remove the plastic cover that allows access to the trimmer blade. To turn on the trimmer press and hold in the power button located on the right side panel adjacent to the type C USB port until you see a white light illuminated over the trimmer. At this point place a finger over the thumb print logo located over the embossed Seemagic name on the top of the trimmer. If your finger is not clean you may have to switch fingers, or wipe clean the button till proper contact is made and the clipper is activated. You should now hear the trimmer’s motor. Leave your finger in place while trimming is taking place. If you don’t hear the motor noise it means that the finger you are using is probably greasy, so either wipe it clean, or try a different finger until you hear the trimmer’s motor. You’re now ready to begin trimming your nails. Gently insert one side of the nail to be trimmed into the blade’s slot opening. Use only a slight pressure and move the trimmer, or your nail from one end of the nail to the other. Continue this process until you achieve the desired nail trimming. Maintaining a constant, but slight pressure prevents trimming the nail too much. Repeat this operation until the desired trim is achieved then proceed to the next nail until all nails are satisfactorily trimmed to your liking. The trimmer may possibly be used on toes, but based on the typical unusual contour of toes it may be difficult, or not easily achievable. To shut off the trimmer just press the power on/off button till light and motor noise cease. Pressing of the thumb print is not required for the shutdown of the trimmer.
After continued use you will see the nail residue build up in the cavity at the bottom of the trimmer. To empty, just push the top of the clear plastic door inward as indicted by the word PUSH. Once emptied just press the rear of the door back down till you hear a click. A cleaning brush is included for cleaning the blade slot. Cleaning should be performed when trimmed debris becomes visible.
I found the SeeMagic Nail Clipper to work exceptionally well in most applications.
