So, if the column’s format looks a bit strange it’s due to Google and BlogSpot, not THE GADGETEER, may change the layout from traditional standards) No doubt that there are multiple cell phone holders and chargers for your automobile available in today’s marketplace. The F18 is a rather unusual and unique one, as you will soon see. The F18 is designed to attach to the vent flaps of your cooling system on your car’s dashboard. It comes complete with its own USB type C power cable that will attach to whatever DC power source you have that accommodates USB type C inputs. Once the F18 is attached to your car’s vent it has the capability of automatically adjusting to virtually any size cell phone. When the car is powered up the F18 is automatically powered and ready for the placement of your phone. As soon as you bring the phone close to the phone holder’s compartment the side clamps open up allowing placement. Once placed the clamps automatically move inward towards the phone until they securely grab the phone. A button at the bottom left of the holder also allows you to open and close these clamps by simply depressing it. There is also a button on the bottom right that is labeled with a circular arrow that when depressed rotates the phone thus allowing for horizontal, or vertical viewing. Positioning can also be accomplished by manually moving the phone in the holder to the position, up or down, that you prefer. Charging is accomplished by the circular gold plated pattern that the phone is now laying against in the holder. Naturally, the USB C cable must be attached to an active DC source for charging to take place. The F18 utilizes a silent motor. The holder is stable and anti-slip and thus very easy and convenient to operate. The F18 cell phone holder is a practical and very convenient way to always maintain your phone for easy viewing and operation!
