Hiding cables and keeping them away from pets has always been
a challenge. Unfortunately, these unsightly devils are necessary to make our
technology function. Furthermore, keeping them out of the reach of curious pets
is a challenge all to itself. So, what’s an inexpensive, almost invisible and
easy to use solution? Stageek seems to have a hit upon something that works!
The Stageek cable raceway kit
is a cable management system that is compact, easy to install and easy on the
pocketbook. Each kit includes
nine cable channels, a/k/a raceways, that are 15.4” x 1.6” x
.08” for a total of 138 inches of cable concealment. Flexible cable cutouts are
numerous and appear on both sides of the raceway. They can be removed or bent
to accommodate an extra large amount of cable entering or exiting the channel
from these side ports. The end’s diameter is generally sufficient for most home
installations. It even allows space to accommodate stuffing excess lengths of
cable into it. Naturally, you can purchase additional kits to add to the
desired length you may need. Each channel has self-stick tape attached to the
underside making it very easy to affix to almost any surface. Furthermore, if
the self-stick tape method of attaching the raceway is not desired an adequate
number of screws as well as drywall anchors are included. Also, included are twelve
assorted connecters in the kit. These blocks, when used, allow for joining
sections together, either in a straight line, or right angles in either
horizontal or vertical positions. I opted not to use straight-on connectors as
I found they worked just fine butted together. In addition, it made it possible
to allow the cover plate to be adjusted to permit covering a desired gap
between channels. The flexibility of this product includes the fact that it can easily be bent to
conform to unique and unusually shaped surfaces. It makes it very adaptable.

I found the Stageek raceway system a real problem solver.
Unlike competitive commercial products, the pre-cut slim sections and cover
panels are easy to work with and install. Cutting can be done with a normal
pair of scissors. This system is available in both white and black and easily
lends itself to being painted to blend in with any home decor. Perfect for
hiding and routing cords for flat-screens, computers, stereos and small gauge
electrical cords! This product is not UL approved.
