Fully
charged batteries can be vital in the overall operational success of your electronic
devices. Often times a battery may be at the very edge of being useful, but
when your device is in a current drawing mode, unexpected failure can occur.
This may have you thinking that the device’s failure is due to a technical
issue with the device you are powering. In actuality, a quick check of the battery’s
energy level could resolve the issue very simply. Now before you think that
testers are expensive, complicated to operate and bulky, Power-Stations’, DLYFULL could be an inexpensive solution.
The
DLYFULL B2 is a multi-battery,
pocket-sized tester. It easily tests AAA, AA, C, D, 9V, CR123A, CR-V3, 2CRS, 2CRS,
CR-P2, CR2 as well as 1.5 & 3 volt button batteries. Simply place the
battery in the corresponding detent, or cutout and be sure to match the
indicated polarity. This is normally shown by either a + or – symbol. Two
contact buttons at the top right are used for the testing of 9 volt batteries.
Simply place and firmly hold the corresponding polarity contacts of the battery
to that of the tester. It’s rare to find a tester that can test all those
different sized batteries, especially the button batteries, too.
The easy to read LCD screen shows you the batterie’s
condition in three stages, POOR, WEAK and GOOD. As previously stated many electronic items require a GOOD reading to function. Under a load
condition, the battery can easily fall into the next condition thus causing a
malfunction of your device. So, if the display indicates a borderline status
you would be well advised to replace the battery(s).
(TIP: The 1.5 & 3 volt button
batteries must be placed into the appropriate
cutout with the negative “ – “ side down. Unfortunately, the
polarity for these specific batteries is not shown on the tester. All other
batteries have the polarity engraved in the body. Failure to observe the positioning
of the proper battery’s polarity will create a false reading, or no reading at
all and could possibly even damage the unit. Some testing requires the use of
the supplied AAA battery that is placed in the rear battery compartment.)
(TIP: Batteries housed in any
device including this tester should be removed when such device is not being
used for prolong periods. This prevents battery corrosion and the gumming up of
the battery contacts that sometimes can be next to impossible to clean up.)
(TIP: The DLYFULL B2 will not test
any rechargeable batteries. Attempting to test such batteries could damage the
tester.)
The DLYFULL B2 is
an excellent battery charger for the money. It’s easy to use and low cost makes
it affordable and thus a great addition to your household.
